“Church Planter Testimony” – Although I was raised in a
Christian home, I spent much of my life according to my own desires. I would spend time with bad friends, drink, and make bad choices. One day, I went to a conference where I heard a servant of God preaching Corinthians 3:16-17: “But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” I then understood the freedom of Christ. Since that time, my life has changed and I have received Jesus as my Savior. Now, I want to preach and spread the Word of Godto all people.

Ministry Area: West Bengal’s population of over 80 million is just 0.6%
Christian. Home to the spraling, impoverished city of Kolkata (Calcutta), where Mother Teresa ministered to the “poorest of the poor,” West Bengal is spiritually hungry.
Our ministry partners are reporting an exciting response to the Gospel among the lowest castes and God is raising up dedicated indigenous leaders to minister in this needy
region.

Project Goals: Each Church Planter is committed to reaching the following
project goals:
• Contact 600 families in their ministry area
• Enrol 100 children in Bible Clubs
• Plant 2 new churches

Church Planting: Church Planters follow a 3-step process in bringing the
Living Word of God to the un-reached in their communities:

• Evangelism – Church Planter trainees visit unsaved families
  and begin planting seeds…
• Discipleship – Church Planters care for new believers and
  help them grow in their faith…
• Multiplying Churches – New disciples begin forming new
  churches and begin witnessing to other neighbours and
  families.
